Kara Gold

The gold you hold on Kara is physical gold with a purity of 999.9‰ (24 carats).

On the Kara app, it is fractionalized and displayed in grams to facilitate buying, selling, and transferring, but it always corresponds to physical gold stored on your behalf.

The grams you own are part of a shared gold token pool. These tokens are 24-carat gold coins (999.9‰), allocated to purchases made on the platform. You are therefore the owner of grams of gold distributed across the coins stored in our vaults.

Your gold is physically stored in Switzerland, in a secure vault in Zurich, through our partner Godot & Fils (established since 1933).

The storage benefits from a very high level of security: 24/7 surveillance, restricted access areas, and regular audits.

All the gold is fully insured against theft, loss, and damage. This insurance covers 100% of the stored gold value.

At any time you can:

• download a purchase or holding certificate;
• request physical delivery in gold coins at a Godot & Fils agency.

Direct access to the vault is not possible: you cannot withdraw gold in raw form from the reserve. Any physical retrieval goes exclusively through gold coin delivery operated and secured by Godot & Fils.
